Chester NJ Real Estate – Closed Sales for APRIL 2012

Attn: Buyers and Sellers – Read below to find out the very latest information on your local Chester NJ Real Estate market!

Closed Sales in Chester NJ are down slightly (12%) for the month of April as compared to this same period last year, however they are up sharply from last month (March) by 40%, which is very encouraging news. We’ll have to see the results from May and June in order to get a better indication of where the local market is headed. One thing is for sure – it is a great time to buy with prices and interest rates both at record lows!

Despite this decline, there is a certain amount of “pent-up demand” on both the buying and selling side of this market as many buyers and sellers have been sitting on the fence for several years now and see that the pendulum is beginning to swing in the other direction and as a result, they are taking action.
